Sociology an Under-Graduate Dept.It was introduced to fulfill the obligation of passing as an optional subject in order to get a BSc degree.The founder Head of the Dept.was Late Smt. Savita Bhargava.Currently the Dept. is being headed by Dr K S Randhawa. Applied Sociology and Rural Sociology are taught at the specialization level. In the stream of Political Sociology three papers have been presented. More than two hundred students have opted for Sociology in BA-1, 2 and 3 classes. |
