Work experience:

Worked as Lecturer-Chemistry, in D.S.N. (P.G.) College, Unnao, since 27 September 2006 to12 December 2013, teaching Graduate and Post-Graduate classes.

Joined D.B.S.(PG) College, Dehradun on 14 December 2013 as Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry.

Research Experience/Training:

During Ph.D., undergone training on “Extraction of organochlorine pesticides from water, serum, tissue samples and their quantitative analysis by using gas chromatography-Electron capture detector (GC- ECD)”; at Industrial Toxicology Research Center, Lucknow.

Seminars and Conferences and Publications:

·        Paper “Removal of phenol from aqueous solution using Okra mucilage”  selected for presentation in 99 Indian Science Congress annual conference of year 2012 at Bhubaneshwar.

·        Determination of persistent organo chlorine residues in a commercial fresh water cat fish by GLC and study of their accumulation pattern.

·        Invited as a key note speaker in an international conference in Bali (Indonesia) , organised by international academy of science, technology, engineering and management (IASTEM) on environmental science in March 2016. Got travel support grant from UCOST to attend the conference.

·        Invited as key note speaker in a national seminar on “ Emerging Dimensions of Environmental Issues” at Saraswati Mahila (PG) College, Kanpur on 6 and 7 January 2017. Honored with memento and honorarium.
